Prince received 6 awards at the 6th annual Minnesota Music Awards, including musician, producer and male vocalist of the year. With some members of his band and on borrowed equipment he performed a 10-minute version of D.M.S.R.
After that he went to First Avenue and joined Jah Woble onstage for a song, before taking over and performing another jam session.
